Julianna Swilley (she/her) is proudly from Dinuba, California and the current Coordinator of Black Student Life at the UCSB Office of Black Student Development. Previously, she earned her B.A. in Psychology with minors in Education and Visual and Performing Arts Education at UCLA and her M.Ed at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology. She is passionate about creating equitable opportunities in education for BIPOC communities. In her free time, you can find Julianna singing, dancing, watching any and all Disney movies, and spending time with family & friends! As part of the OBSD team, Julianna hopes to build community amongst Black students, faculty, and staff and support students holistically in their academic journeys.
